Friends of Alaska CASA (FAC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2026 to support Alaska's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers and the youth they work with.
Our organization is building on the legacy of a prior iteration of FAC, originally founded as CASAs for Children in 1991.
The mission of Friends of Alaska CASA is to provide support to the Alaska CASA program by increasing awareness, raising and overseeing funds, and engaging in community advocacy for the benefit of children in care.
FAC is not formally affiliated with the Alaska CASA program, which is a part of the state Office of Public Advocacy.
